Located between the beautiful coastline of Malaga and the inland border of the province of Malaga and Cadiz, the Ronda Mountains are a sight to see. The mountains near the coast have large expanses of Mediterranean forest, while the inland areas host wide-open terrain with little plant life except for scattered Pine, Live Oak and Spanish Fir trees. The elevation goes from just above sea level to 3000 feet, however, the incline is steep and sometimes require some strenuous climbing
